And we’re back!
Earlier this week I canned my entire online journal to start fresh with a clean slate. It’s a new year with new family members, new projects and a new approach to my online journal. Our revised editorial budget reflects work related items, new photos (thank you C for finding my long-lost photo archives), family updates, and audio projects.
To be clear – I’m not a huge fan of blogging about myself and my life. I don’t intend to use this as a vehicle to gain industry credibility, book speaking engagements or to get more freelance web or studio projects. However, I hope to use this as a catalyst in an effort to be more connected to my friends, family and to help facilitate the completion of projects I’ve been working on.
My main priority is to complete operation Manifest D v07 and to get my lovely wife Charmaine, my daughter Sophia, and our darling twins out here to Portland. Unfortunately, there are several forces I have no control over working ye ol’ strings of fate on that one. Second priority or third, or maybe it’s 22nd, is finishing a recording project that has been in the works for about 5 years now. It’s a dodgy little rascal of a project, having been in the planning stages for years and as of press time not a single note recorded or lyric penned. Time will tell, and I plan on posting regular updates on all things me, or as J prefers “The Beard”.
